The Forreston FFA Alumni advisors and Forreston FFA students refurbished a Massey Ferguson 1130 diesel tractor. The tractor is a late model 1964 that has 4700 hours and approximately 100 horsepower. It has updated features that were not available on early 1964 versions. Larry and Dawn Mathiot donated this tractor to the Forreston FFA Alumni. It was a part of the Robert and Joan LaBudde Trust of Cedar Creek Farms — Cederville, Illinois.

The students and their supervisors made a variety of repairs and improvements on the tractor. Some of these features include:

 •New front tires

 •Rear tires in good condition with power adjust rims

 •New engine clutch

 •New PTO clutch

 •Repaired 3 pt. hitch

 •New alternator and regulator

 •Original paint
